Verification Guide

1. Create a free OTPGrove account and add crypto funds to your wallet via Cryptomus.
2. Order a real non-VoIP number for Microsoft from the dashboard — check live rates at /pricing/.
3. Enter the rented number on Microsoft when prompted for phone verification.
4. Trigger the SMS OTP and read the code in your OTPGrove inbox (typically under 30 seconds on USA routes).
5. Paste the verification code into Microsoft and complete onboarding — enable 2FA when available.

Common Errors

• SMS route blocked — Microsoft may reject VoIP numbers for security-sensitive actions.
• Code expired — Microsoft OTP windows are short; enter codes immediately after delivery.
• Number already registered — Each Microsoft account must use a unique verified phone number.
• Too many attempts — Rate limits apply after repeated failed verification tries.

Failed Verification Fixes

If Microsoft still rejects verification after the steps above:
